Namanga Border to Lake Manyara National Park
You will be picked up from the Namanga border and leave for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is one of the most beautiful places in Africa. The Park is dramatically marked off by lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees of the groundwater forest, which provide a home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Further down, the forest opens up into woodland, grassland, swamps, and beyond, the soda lake itself where over 350 species of birds, including the lively flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe, and stork can be viewed. At the southern end of the Park are hot sulfur springs called Maji Moto. Manyara is noted for its numerous buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo, as well as a great variety of smaller animals, and of course the very elusive tree-climbing lions. Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, you will arrive at the Nabi hills gate and after formalities, you will enter Serengeti and probably the greatest park on earth. This park, undoubtedly the most famous in the world, covers over 14 000 sq. km and offers amongst many other things the biggest concentration of big cats in the world (Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Wild cats…). Many different landscapes can be found in the Serengeti: Savannah with the big plains to the south, hills & woods to the west, the kopjes area to the east, and bushland to the north. Important rivers (Seronera, Banagi, Grumeti ) also run through the park. Many different species of mammals can be spotted during game drives, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes… Hippo and crocodiles can also be found. Full-Day Game Drive Serengeti National Park
Morning and evening games drive through the Serengeti plains. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds, and up to ten thousand elephants. Dinner and overnight at Suenos de Africa Tented Camp.
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast Descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. You will find the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard among others. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, later ascend and arrive at your lodge for sunset. Karatu to Namanga Border
After breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural visit, Maasai boma for dancing, leering after Maasai boma back to Arusha, and proceeding with Namanga Namanga border.
